MANDATE WORKING GROUP ON TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (WGTA)

Membership/Term


The WGTA Mandate has been prolonged for two years with the possibility of subsequent prolongation on its expiry. The WGTA membership is open to all EAG members and observers concerned. The representatives of the International Training Methodological Center of Financing Monitoring (ITMCFM) and other organizations making part of the EAG supporting infrastructure are entitled to participate in the WGTA workshops.

Objectives

The WGTA will:
(i) in conjunction with other EAG Working Groups and international bodies conduct technical needs assessments of EAG members;
(ii) interact with concerned states and international bodies – EAG observers and structures making part of the EAG supporting infrastructure, ITMCFM included, in order to coordinate TA provision to the EAG member states;
(iii) interact with other concerned states and international bodies in order to coordinate TA provision to the EAG member states;
(iv) upon Plenary decisions propose development of educational and training programs on the basis of training needs assessments;
(v) coordinate and facilitate training events based on TA needs designated in the course of TANA missions and mutual evaluation reports;
(vi) coordinate placement of TA data received from the EAG member states and donors on the Internet-sites of the EAG and relevant international bodies;
(vii) coordinate organizing of other educational events and development of training materials as necessary;
(viii) consider issues on informational exchange development among FIUs of the EAG member states.
