First EAG Chairman since 2004 to 2007. Born on September 15, 1941.

Graduated from the Leningrad agricultural institute.

From 1967 to 1985 worked in the agricultural sector of the Leningrad region, in the executive authorities of the Leningrad region, Deputy chairman of External relations committee of St. Petersburg city.

Since 1993 worked as the Deputy minister of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees.

The first Head of the financial intelligence service of Russia: from 2001 to 2007.

Since September 12, 2007 to May 12, 2008- Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Since 2008- First vice -premier of the Government of the Russian federation.

State Councilor of the Russian Federation of the 1st class.

During the career awarded with numerous Governmental awards.

    Kazakhstan's parliament ratified Eurasian Group agreement on combating terrorism financing

    The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan on Wednesday approved ratification the agreement on the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing."

    The agreement has been adopted by Parliament and sent to the President in the form of the law.

    Uzbekistan ratifies agreement on combating money laundering

    The Senate of Oliy Majlis (the upper house of the Uzbek parliament) approved the law on "Agreement on the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism" at the plenary session on Tuesday.
