Secretariat
At the Inaugural conference on October 6, 2004 the EAG founding members agreed to set up an EAG Secretariat to be located in Moscow (Russia).
The EAG Secretariat constantly performs administrative and technical functions implementing the decisions of the EAG plenary meeting and assignments of the EAG Chairman.
The EAG Secretariat is headed by the EAG Executive Secretary.
The EAG Secretariat staff is formed by citizens of EAG member states.
According to the EAG Terms of Reference the EAG Secretariat activities are provided for by the Russian Federation.
Due to a decision of the EAG Plenary, the EAG Secretariat has a group of advisors who may include representatives from the EAG observers.
