On December 7-9, 2009 the 11th EAG Plenary alongside the Working group meetings will be held in Guilin (China)
The Plenary meeting will be chaired by the EAG Chairman, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Oleg Markov.
On December 7-9, 2009 the 11th EAG Plenary alongside the Working group meetings will be held in Guilin (China)

Among the participants of the Plenary will be heads and representatives of the financial intelligence units and other competent authorities of the EAG member states including Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and experts from the EAG observers.

The agenda of the 11th EAG Plenary includes:

  • Follow-up reports of the EAG member states;

    - ML/TF trends and risks identified in the framework of the 2009 typologies research on the following topics:
    - Laundering of proceeds from budget funds embezzlement and abuse of power by heads of organizations with state ownership,
    - External trade transactions as means of money laundering,
    - Laundering of proceeds from drugs, psychotropic agents and their precursors trafficking;
  • The EAG and CCACD CSTO memorandum of understanding;
  • The EAG projects for 2010.
***   EAG Working Groups inter-sessional meeting will be held in Moscow (Russia) on March 29-31   ***   The 11th EAG Plenary was held on December 7-9 in Guilin, China   ***   EAG celebrated the 5th anniversary since its inauguration on October 6
