A temporary ITMCFM representation will be operating in Kazakhstan
The Financial Monitoring Committee within the Kazakhstani Finance Ministry and the International Training and Methodology Centre for Financial Monitoring (ITMCFM) signed the Provisions on establishing a temporary ITMCFM representation in Kazakhstan.
Creation of this Representation became ever more relevant due to adoption in Kazakhstan of the AML/CFT legislation.
According to the ITMCFM General Director Mr. Alexandr Batalov, with the help of the temporary ITMCFM representation it will be possible to promptly carry out various advisory projects required by the tasks of implementation of the adopted legislation.
In the framework of the temporary ITMCFM representation activities, the first training seminars for the Financial Monitoring Committee’s analysts were held on implementing data visualization tools for the purposes of financial investigations.
