The Kyrgyz FIU and ITMCFM signed a technical assistance cooperation agreement
Pursuant to the 8th Plenary resolutions to implement decisions by the 3rd Conference of EAG Member States and Donors and provide technical assistance to EAG member states, EAG has undertaken measures to implement the project to develop a Single Information System for Kyrgyzstan (the Kyrgyz Financial Intelligence Service) on the basis of the International Training and Methodological Center of Financial Monitoring.
This project is being implemented as part of a technical assistance cooperation agreement between the International Training and Methodological Center of Financial Monitoring (Russia) and the Kyrgyz Financial Intelligence Service (FIS).
Main lines of technological assistance:

Creating and developing a Single Information System of the Kyrgyz Financial Intelligence Service.

Organizing AML/CFT and IT training programs for Kyrgyz FIS specialists via onsite and distance (electronic) courses, seminars, etc.

Developing the IT infrastructure for the Kyrgyz FIS as part of the EAG Single Information Space to provide the FIS with access to external information sources on AML/CFT, including commercial databases and information services, analytical resources for data monitoring and analysis, etc.

Kyrgyz FIS involvement in the creation of consolidated databases of FIUs of EAG member states (with both public and restricted access).

Counseling in matters of legal, organizational, and technical development of the national AML/CFT system of Kyrgyzstan, mutual counseling in matters of typology studies and applied research, evaluation activities, AML/CFT methods and applied research solutions.
