Working groups
Following on from the Terms of Reference of the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and terrorist financing approved at the EAG inaugural conference, working groups on different aspects of EAG activities can be established, which report to the plenary meeting according to their mandates.
At present under the decision of the EAG Plenary meeting in order to meet the EAG primary objectives, 4 Working Groups have been established:
- Working Group on Mutual Evaluations and Legal Issues (WGEL);
- Working Group on Typologies (WGTYP);
- Working Group on Technical Assistance (WGTA);
- Ad Hoc Working Group (AHWC) for Development and Implementation of Operational Guidance on the Implementation of FATF Recommendations;
- Working Group on Assessment and Prevention of ML/FT Risks in International Financial Relations (WGAR).
