Chairman

The EAG Chairman is Oleg Markov, aide to the President of the Russian Federation.
Oleg Alexandrovich MARKOV
Was born on December 30th 1953 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Graduate of the Leningrad State University named for A.A.Zhdanov.
Worked with executive authorities of the regional and municipal councils of representatives in Leningrad.
1991-2004: deputy chairman of the External Relations Committee at the Mayor’s Office of St.Petersburg, division head at the North-Western Department of the State Customs Committee of Russia.
2004-2007: first deputy chief of protocol of Russia President Vladimir Putin.
March-September 2007: deputy head of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
September 2007 - May 2008: head of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service.
Since December 2007 has been chairing the EAG (re-elected for the second term with the decision of the 11-th EAG Plenary of December 2009).
May 2008 – present: aide to the Russian President.

Till December 2007 the EAG Chairman was Viktor Zubkov who headed Russian FIU - Federal Financial Monitoring Service - in 2001-2007.
