Inter-session meeting of the EAG Working Groups took place in Moscow (Russia) on March 30-31
Representatives of the financial intelligence units of the EAG member states including Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the meeting.
Within the framework of the Inter-session the meetings of the EAG Working group on mutual evaluations and legal issues (WGEL) and the EAG Working group on technical assistance (WGTA) took place.
On the agenda there was an issue of the EAG transformation into international organization.

The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan on Wednesday approved ratification the agreement on the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing."
The agreement has been adopted by Parliament and sent to the President in the form of the law.
The Senate of Oliy Majlis (the upper house of the Uzbek parliament) approved the law on "Agreement on the Eurasian group on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism" at the plenary session on Tuesday.
